Sorry its been a while, but we just been busy doing our thing. We have had some great gigs over the winter, the best in my opinion was the Snooty Fox mid march. Thanks to the lads from Wonday fro supporting us there and at Scunthorpe. Ok dokey, latest News. Well we finally found our new rehearsal space, which coincides with finally buying our own PA rig and chris has a new awesome pedal to complement his new guitar.... Fuck this is boring, lets get tut nitty gritty. We are pleased to annouce further gigs that we have added to our listings. They are as follows:
Friday 23rd June - The Green Room, Chesterfield
Monday 28th August - The Broken Wheel Festival, Retford
Friday 29th Sept - The Green Room, Chesterfield
Friday 6th Oct - The Lincoln Imp, Scunthorpe
Sat 21st Oct - The Broken Wheel Retford
Further dates will be added shortly.
Other than that , nowt much to report apart from a couple of new songs to listen out for "Only Shadows" and "By your Side"......aaaahhhhh lovely.

Hi there
Firstly of course happy new year to everyone. Just one bit of news which is in fact an ammendment. You can obviously catch us at the boardwalk in sheffield this saturday 7th Jan . However, our visit later this month supporting the ace Foe, will actually be on Tuesday 24th Jan, not 26th as previously adverstised. Sorry for the confusion. Will be in touch very soon with hopefully much more gig and minty news.

Hi everyone, here's the latest installment of minty news, the usual blend of useful and useless information about your fav sheffield band.

Gigs Gigs Gigs
We are pleased to announce some dates for the dairy in 2006, the first of which is The Boardwalk, Sheffield on Saturday 7th Jan, All other gigs can be found on the gigs page, but keep checking back regulaly as many more dates are in the pipeline.

Snooty Fox
All you guys who missed this gig (most of you), missed a pearler. This was our first visit to the venue in wakefield, and without a doubt one of the best venues we have ever played. Big thanks to malc there for making us welcome and his bloody ace attitude to the unsigned band scene. We are planning another gig there early in the new year and is likely that we will be recording a live DVD at our next gig there for you to spend your hard earned cash on.

Rehearsal Space ....HELP !
We currently practise in sheffield, but as Chris is now living out in the stix, we really need to find some rehearsal space somewhere in the Chesterfield / Mansfield Corridor, so if there is anyone out there that can help us track some space down, please email me at the usual address, cheers !.

New Song !.....finally
After months of rehearsing for gigs etc, we have finally found the time to finish a new song. Titled "Fall upon you" , tis basically a tale of getting your come uppance, reap what you sow type of thing. We first played it at Snooty Fox, ( well if you bothered to come you would have known that) but it looks set to be a regular in the Minty set list. Ace song, though i say so myself.

We are finally putting together a mailing list, getting all minty info to you as soon as we can. Dont worry, if i already have your email address, you will be on it, otherewise just drop me a quick email to be added.

Welcome to the news section of the mighty Minties web site, Sorry but it has been a tad on the static side, but hopefully now we can keep you posted about all the little bits of Angels news however small. Some of it you will find interesting and useful, some of it will no doubt encourage a "what the f**k have they told us that for. Either way, here goes:-

Chris's New Guitar
Wow....big deal i hear you say, but the little fella is proud of it and to be fair it has added a more vibrant edge to the overall guitar sound. How did he pay for it ? Well he saved up all his money that any normal guitarist would have spent on regularly replacing strings, and hey presto ! before long the funds were there. Bit sad though hearing him tell his guitar good night and to sleep well before putting in its case.......bless!.

Latchkey
The band are sorry to hear of the recent demise of Latchkey. A great bunch of lads with some well catchy tunes and a regular support to the Mint Angels. We wont go into reasons for the split, but we do wish James and Adam best of luck with the new band they are getting together at the moment, and wish Reece and Paul every success at uni.

Hit Music Radio
A quick thanks to Wayne Cubitt and Dan Hall, regular dj's on Hit Music Radio, who have championed the "Beautiful Way to Lie" cd. New CD Completed - Mint Angels have finished recording their new 5 track CD "A Beautiful Way To Lie". The band announced today the CD will be launched at their gig at the Boardwalk, Sheffield on Wednesday 8th June 2005.
